I initially called the company to find out when they could come to check out my AC. They sent someone out that same day and the technician (Jeremy) was courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. I knew my system was on its last legs and I was in the process of selling my house, but they let me know that replacing the system was the only way to fix it. I was pretty irritated that a system that old decided to die a week before my house closing after being on its last legs for several years; but it had to be operational as it had been during inspections 🙁 Anyway, the price they quoted was very reasonable and the lowest that I found after checking prices. They were able to do the job within a few days and the crew showed up promptly and had the replacement done within a couple of hours. If I had known about this company, I would’ve fixed the AC a couple years ago instead of limping it along. I would highly recommend them to anyone. If I ever need service in the future I will definitely be calling them to my new home.

We got several quotes from multiple places back in July when our AC gave out. Their quote was the most reasonable priced for what they were offering. The installation went smoothly with no issues. It has been about half a year and we have been really happy with everything. We had one hiccup when we realized the humidifier wasn’t running properly. I wrote one email to them, and they had sent someone over that same day, fixed the issue with no charge and was really nice about it.

I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with the Air Temp Control team. I have had them out to my house probably four or five times and each time I am more than happy with their service. Very honest about what the issue is, never overselling, and very prompt in taking care of business. Once when Chris was out of town he couldn’t get to me for a second visit, and he had his men out here the very next morning that I talked to him. Overall
Air Temp Control is by far one of the best HVAC businesses in this area and I highly recommend. End your search and take it from a person who did hours of searching and quoting from numerous places. This company deserves as much business as they can get.

My experience:
I called the office on a Friday afternoon, and they scheduled me FOR THAT DAY! This was amazing for being one of the busiest times in the HVAC business, I was impressed with their responsiveness in the heat of summer. Our AC system of 20 years went out on that Friday, and we knew it was on the fritz. Chris came out to evaluate our system, and being honest with us, said that he could repair it and get it running as it was just a blower motor that went out. Cheap, simple, easy. We knew that and considered it. However, we’ve had problems with it in the winter and it was absurdly loud as it sits in our utility closet. So, we told him that we would like to quote a new system installation. Chris wrote it up and gave us 3 options that were all well below what I’ve had other companies write up. Chris was again honest with us and said that we’ll be happy with any one of the options. One of the options was a Quiet Comfort Maker furnace and AC System, though a bit pricier, the quality has blown my mind. I’ll explain. We could have had a system replaced that mirrored our old one for about $1.5k less but knowing that the noise in our closet was the largest pain point for our heating and cooling system, Chris recommend the quiet comfort series. We went with it and took his word and experience with the product, and we couldn’t be happier. After we committed, he had a team out in 2 days, so a total of 5 days from initial contact (including the weekend).

Jim and Drake were awesome with their install. Jim, a 20-year pro in the HVAC field and Drake, his apprentice that he was teaching, were not only respectful and wore masks when they entered and were in the house but were extremely kind and did the job right. It took them 2 days to install both AC, and Furnace. I know more than the average joe about hvac, building science, air sealing, and I was stunned by the level of perfect that Jim strives for. While Jim was teaching Drake, he went through each code restriction, tiny detail, and then how to go above and beyond by taping the joints of the duct work, air sealing around the pipes that exited the wall with caulk, and how to respect customers. Drake was soaking it all in and was just a straight up good person to be around. You could tell that he also cared immensely about the work that he was doing, and he was an absolute pleasure to talk with. Overall, if these are the type of amazing individuals that Chris employs, then they have me as a customer for life. One last note. Not only did Jim and Drake get my AC back up in running in one day, but I also couldn’t believe the quality of the product. Jim was heading out for the day, and I asked him if he was going to start up the AC system, and he looked at me and said, it’s already going my man! I was shocked. I couldn’t even hear it, but as I checked the vents and returned, sure enough, super cold air was pouring out and cooling our 86-degree house. The quiet comfort product changed our entire house, and we no longer had a 747 jet in our closet. The furnace was the same way. Go with this company. I want to start by saying these guys are open 24 hours. We made the mistake of contacting a “different company” because we didn’t have heat on Christmas day at 1:00 in the morning… This “different company” diagnosed and suggested a very expensive repair and took the deposit beforehand. We were told to get a second opinion after speaking to the distributor about the warranty coverage for the repair diagnosed by the “different company”. I called Air Temperature Control and left a message requesting a diagnosis to confirm the problem. Chris, the owner, called me back an hour later and scheduled us for New Years Eve for only 49.95. The other companies I contacted wanted $175! Jeff, a faithful employee, showed up on time, performed the diagnostic, found the problem and tested to confirm that our prior diagnosis from the “different company” was incorrect. He did this without taking payment at the time and told us Chris would call when the part came in and take care of everything then. Chris showed up early and quickly installed it. He also only charged us for labor and took care of the warranty reimbursement for the part himself, rather than leaving it to us as “the other company” did. They are professional, kind and respectful of their customers. This is the second time we’ve used them and we are very happy with their service.

Great experience every time. With a 3-day old in the house we discovered our ac was not working in the middle of July. Chris was able to do a recharge within 15 minutes of calling him. Fantastic response time. He recharged us in the house to get us to the following week when he could come out to replace the unit, which we were already considering. Will never call another company.
